FAMILY PRACTICE / INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
(On-Call/Per Diem)

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
The On-Call/Per Diem Family Practice/Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing adult medicine and women’s services including family planning and gynecological care (pediatric care is optional). Supervises the care given by Family Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other team members. Hours are between 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SAMPLE JOB DUTIES
- Provides ambulatory acute, chronic, and preventative medical services in accordance with community national Standards of Practice and DHHS guidelines.
- Refers for hospitalization and specialty referrals in consultation with MNHC staff physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed in the state of California and current DEA registration.
- Board certified or residency trained in Family Practice/Internal Medicine
- Fluency in Medical Spanish/ English required. Bicultural preferred.
